Summer Storytime
Join us for Storytime each week, on Tuesday or Wednesday morning at 10:15am. Activities are themed for preschool aged children. Summer Storytime will take place at the Real Life Nazarene located at 777 Fairview Ave, Galion, OH 44833, to accommodate the large participation of Summer Storytime. Storytime may not occur on certain weeks due to being affected by holidays and Library events. In addition, Storytime does not occur in the months of May, August, or December.
Pop-Up Craft: DIY & Henna Tattoos
Interested in a different type of craft? Join us for Henna Tattoos at the Galion Public Library. Program is intended for school-age children and teens. Mon, Jul 7th at 1:30pm.
Bingo! for Books
Come in and play bingo, winners leave with a new book of their choice! There will be plenty of opportunities to win too; Cards will be played through until we get three bingo winners each round! We'll be playing from 5:30pm to 7:00pm. Always free to play! (Read More.)
Coffee and Coloring
Please join us at Three Bean Coffee House for 2 hours of cozy coloring and drinks on the 2nd Wednesday of the month! All ages are welcome, but those ages 13 and under must come with an adult to attend! We have both simple and complex coloring pages available. The only cost to you is your drink! Erica Carlson's Balloon Animal Workshop

Children and teens of all ages (and their families) are invited to drop in and build. Occurs on the 2nd Thursday of every month from 4:3pm to 5:30pm. No registration is required.
Wolves - Fact vs. Fiction
The Ohio Canid Center will be visiting Galion at the Nazarene Church with one of their wolves. Come and learn about the myths and legends surrounding those cool creatures. Mon, Jul 14th at 1pm.

Political Education
Our Adult Programming Coordinator wanted to try something new and teach our patrons to engage in the political system that exists all around us in a way that goes beyond the ballot box. This will be done with discussions and activities revolving around a particular chosen topic. (Read More.)

Summer Reading for All Ages
Our summer reading theme this year is Color Your World. We have programs for Adults, for Teens, and for Children. The program begins on June 2nd, and lasts through July 31st. The Teen Program infor will be doenstairs in the Youth Department.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
Race to 1000 books with our 1000 Books Before Kindergarten reading program! Parents track the amount of books online, and children are given prizes for different milestones! For ages birth through kindergarten, and you need to sign up in person.
